How it all started
Founded by violinist Alejandra Switala, cellist Everardo Sánchez, and mulit-media artist Amelia De Rudder, Pilsen Classical is a chamber project featuring an ever-expanding group of extraordinary musicians, primarily Latine, Black, and Asian, who are passionate about chamber music and collaboration.
This violin and cello friendship duo began in Chicago in 2016 when Ale and Eve discovered they both had roots in El Paso, TX. Since then they have shared the concert stage, holidays, and road trips! They both live in the Pilsen/La Villita neighborhoods of Chicago.
